Morristown Engagement Session

What a beautiful night for Amanda and Tom ! The couple chose Morristown, NJ as their location for their photos and what a beautiful place it was.  The weather  was pleasant and the town  was ready for these two lovebirds to take over. When couples ask me about locations, I always encourage them to choose a spot with meaning behind it, I tell them to choose a place they enjoy going together.  If they don’t have a location in mind, then I encourage them to choose a location they would like  to experience together for the first time. I always give suggestions too.  Engagement sessions are lots of fun and I see them as the beginning of a beautiful journey.

Our first stop was at the Patriots Path with their puppies. I absolutely love when couples include their dog(s) in their sessions. It is so much fun having them and I say why not? They are part of the family.  However, one very important tip to remember is that when bringing your pet(s), try to hire a sitter to come along with you, in order for you to have pictures with and without your puppies and feel free to move around as well. In this particular session, Amanda and Tom brought Gaby along who did an amazing job keeping the pups engaged and very attentive when it came for their turn. I cannot wait to share Gabbys information with my couples with puppies.

Our second location was  the Morristown Green, jockey hallow, right outside the mansion.  It offered a gorgeous manicured lawn and the sun was just perfect, peaking thru a beautiful holly tree .  Oh Yeah! I love holly trees.

It is so funny to see how couples begin their session somewhat shy, understandable of course  but let me tell you! by mid way they are just working the camera like pro models.  I had so much fun with Amanda and Tom.  I wish them lots of luck in their new journey as an engaged couple! Cannot wait to share the rest of the images with them.
