I am so excited to be blogging about this wedding today. Jaclyn and Dylan wed on a beautiful, crispy wintery day at the The Olde Mill Inn located in Baskin Ridge NJ. The Olde Mill Inn is a quaint, intimate venue with a very historic vibe servicing one wedding at a time.
We started our day with some getting ready photos of Jaclyn and Dylan. On a side note, I must give props to the Inn for such beautiful bridal suite. When I entered their bridal suite, I was really impressed by the amount of space and natural light coming into the room. It was very pretty and unexpected. Okay…carrying on… Despite the cold weather, after our getting ready photos, the bride and groom opted for their first look to be outdoors. The Grain House, which is located directly across from the Inn, was the perfect location. I was so happy! I know sometimes the cold may get in the way but when there is a love for natural light, we just had to. The Grain House was super cute with a little stream of water behind the house and tall trees facing the couple, making their first look very romantic.
Why have a First Look? I think It’s a great decision for couples who want to spend a quiet time together before their ceremony. If you are nervous, I think by having a first look and seeing your partner before the IDOS, is a great way to ease that feeling.
I am so happy to have shared this special day with Jaclyn and Dylan. They are two beautiful, deeply in love souls that celebrated their marriage all night long with their friends and family. I wish you guys the best and I cannot wait to share the rest of the photos with you.
